A little home update. 🏡 Oh man, it feels so good that we made some progress again. Due to my pregnancy illness it all took a bit longer, but I’m so happy it’s all coming together now.

This herringbone floor from @ambiant.official is just making it complete. We decided to go for a new floor for the entire apartment as our previous flooring was quite damaged. When looking for a sustainable type of flooring I think it’s best to consider your lifestyle. Milieu Centraal has some great tips on their website to help you out with guiding you through sustainable solutions. We wanted to go for a sustainable option that fitted our lifestyle (read very exciting dog) and found this option made in Europe. Isn’t it beautiful? 😍

My look;
Oversized vintage blouse from @nyn_vintage. Something you can easily find at curated vintage stores. The trousers are about 10 years old and they were always a but too big which I didn’t mind, and they fit perfectly right now at 33 weeks pregnant.
These Sézane moccasins are great as it feels like I’m wearing house slippers all day and can’t deal with other complicated footwear at the moment.
And then that perfect laptop bag, custom made @monsakbags. Definitely the best add on to my wardrobe the past year. Something I really needed and it’s completely made to match my wishes and from saved leather which would otherwise go to waste.

Every year EARTH HOUR is organised by @wwf to highlight the importance of our planet by switching off our lights for one hour. I’ve been participating for years, just to have a cozy night in and make some conscious decisions. | AD

This year I will also be enjoying earth hour with my two favourites; tea and fairtrade chocolate. I already got in the mood last night, so I will be doing it two nights in a row! Last night with some reading, tonight it will be a proper self-care night.

@alter_ecobnlx is one of my favourite chocolate brands (you will find them at the organic aisle at Albert Heijn) as they value transparency and the bars all taste like heaven. Besides, it is 100% organic, fairtrade and vegan making it the perfect option for my number 1 pregnancy craving at the moment. Definitely a great option for a night with less impact on the planet.

Third trimester; honestly it’s going by so fast now! 💛 Send help!
Eventhough I still have a couple of weeks left, I feel like I want to get the most out of my pregnancy, so I will not regret not doing something while I’m still pregnant. 😁
So to all the mama’s in this community; I would love to hear your thoughts and experiences about things I could do in the third trimester and especially during my maternity leave. Things I should not forget about (newborn essentials), or just fun things I could do, book & podcast tips are always more than welcome too. 🤍
Ooh and some maternity photographer tips maybe? Help a future mommy out (and I bet there are more future mommy’s that want to know the good tips) Hehe

This was sooooo much fun and I’m so happy with the result! I was looking for a laptop bag which could be closed as the one I have right now doesn’t have that option. Then Margriet from @monsakbags asked me if I wanted to drop by and design my own bag. Honestly, such a fun experience! We started off with a standard design of Monsak and we made it fitting to all my wishes. From choosing a type of saved leather and colour, to designing the wavy front details. I know for sure this will be a bag that I will be using for many many many years. Oh and the colour, isn’t it a special one. 😍

How am I already at 3/4th of my pregnancy? 🤯 Time goed by so fast!
To be honest I expected being pregnant to be a whole lot easier and as if you are living on cloud 9 the whole time, which definitely has not been the case (all the time).
The first weeks I felt uncertain due to the loss before, followed by extreme nausea. I’m so grateful this all went away, and I now feel more at ease and my body is doing amazing (except for the cold that I’m having 🥲). Moodswings are still very much a thing- sorry Kasper. But, it’s so magical to feel her move and connect with her this way. Can’t wait to finish the nursery and meet the little girl. 💛
It’s also been such a pleasure to connect and share experiences and tips in dm’s with you (future) mom’s - I love it and I’m so grateful for this little community!

Happy kiddo in Marrakech. Loveeeed the city. I felt so inspired. Honestly, I was a bit afraid that it would be too much physically but we walked a lot and I felt sooo good. We walked from rooftop restaurant to rooftop restaurant and I couldn’t be more happy as you can see in the last pic. Hehe.
