We are looking for a talented and inspiring Head of Retail who is responsible for:
Sales Relations with our Dutch resellers. As Sales Relations Manager you’ll maintain and create long-term, trusting relationships with our retailers in the Netherlands. Your job is to oversee our portfolio of B2B customers and develop new business from these existing clients.
Next to that you’ll be responsible for our Flagship store in Amsterdam and our Brand store in The Hague. Telling our story and creating consumer awareness around fair fashion is a key factor of who we are. As Head of Retail you’ll have final responsibility for creating an exciting retail experience. You know how to tell a story, create a vision, sell a bag, train your sales team and make customers happy. You will be responsible for improving retail performance, set up omnichannel system, initiating change and improve existing processes.
This will be a challenging and responsible sales job in which your commercial and enterprising qualities will be of great use. The growth of revenue combined with happy customers put a smile on your face!
Communicate with our retailers in the most <3 way possible and build strong, long lasting relationships. Our back office treats customers the same way we’d want someone to treat our friends.
You will maintain and grow business with our retailers and identify areas of improvement to meet sales quotas. You have a positive and enthusiastic attitude. You’ve never seen a problem that could not be solved.
You ensure the timely and successful delivery of products to our retailers. You have a positive and enthusiastic attitude. You’re happy ironing out wrinkles that occur along the way.
You will forecast and track (key) account metrics and prepare quarterly reports on account status.
You will make sure there is always someone to run the shop (from our flex pool) and make sure it is done in the best possible way.
So you are responsible for the pep in the step of all the sales associates! You will train and motivate them and develop customer experience programs.
You’re responsible for the merchandising presentation strategy, making sure everybody stepping in the store, knows all about how we use our business to create social change.
You’ll provide monthly feedback on product and sales performance to ensure growth, change and results. You will guard stock levels in the shop and you make sure the shop always looks it’s best. You will make sure it is an absolute pleasure for any customer to pay our shop visit.
CANDIDATE PROFILE AND REQUIREMENTS
- High energy and positive attitude
- Have a M.Sc. or Ba University or HBO degree.
- Working experience in retail.
- Excited about the concept of social entrepreneurship and international development.
- Comfortable with startup mindset.
- Excellent knowledge of the Dutch and English languages, both spoken and written.
You communicate clearly. You write well. You speak eloquently. You can explain just about anything to anyone and people walk away from a conversation with you with a smile on their faces.
You are pro-active and driven. You have a can-do mentality and always look for opportunities.
