A lot of you often ask where to buy ethical and fair fashion. Therefor I have listed my five favourite online shops based in the Netherlands. Don’t worry, technology is there for you when you think Dutch is a ridiculous language, chrome can always translate the pages of the shops for you. Soon I will share more favourites and of course my favourite international shops as well! But first things first.

2. TAKE IT SLOW
For once and always, I can clear the air here. Take It Slow and Let’s Talk Slow are not the same thing. I met Laura (owner and founder of Take it Slow) at de Modefabriek the Fashion Fair in The Netherlands a couple of years ago and we started our ethical businesses around the same time, without knowing it from eachother. We now combine forces and Laura has become a true friend. [Yes, we take Barre classes together] Take It Slow is an ethical and fair webshop with a minimalistic and Scandinavian aesthetic. Brands you can find there are Filippa K, Alchemist, Jan ‘N June, Kowtow, Veja, Swedish Stocking and many more.

Wolf and Storm has a large collection of vegan bags by brands as Mat and Natt and Denise Roobol. The fashion section includes, but is not limited to, Miss Green, Armed Angels and Friday’s Project.

What they would like to do? Trigger the Blindspot. The Blindspot shows that there is choice for ethical fashion lovers. From fashionable and elegant brands such as Alchemist and Graciela Huam, to comfortable and casual brands like Mud Jeans, you can find it here! They believe that fashion is only truly beautiful when the maker receives a fair wage and when production doesn’t lead to much environmental impact. How they describe themselves? “Rogue is all about handpicked girl power gorgeousness voor de wild and free hearted.” The definition of Rogue is to be wild and free and search for magic in this world. They are big on sustainability and strive towards the best care for our planet. To make things easier for you, they carefully select items from conscious indie brands and sell them through their website. From conscious girlboss jewelry to beautiful crystals and clean beauty to fun prints. All from female companies by powerful boss babes, celebrating and combining our strength and ideals.
